A Royal Pair of Antique Fleur-De-Lis Enamel Sterling Silver Sweater Clips with Cobalt Blue Enamel all intact on a Sterling Silver Setting with connecting Cable Chain, Signed STERLING with Shield Hallmark, used as Sweater, Guard or Cape Clips, Excellent Condition, Weight 7.8 Grams c.1900's!
Measurements are 9-1/2" in length in it's entirety with each Clip measuring about 5/8" in length by 1/2" in width.
These Sweater Clips have Beautiful Fleur de Lis Symbols which derive from the Old French meaning Flower of the Lily. They have aligned little teeth and a Sterling Chain which keep your Cape or Sweater from falling off your shoulders in those freezing cold movie theatres! Each Enamel Clip is Hallmarked "STERLING" and signed with a Markers Mark. The Mark appears to be an upside down letter e with p and y within a Shield. They are both in Excellent Antique condition with working Spring Mechanisms. All Parts are Original.
